Getting the student-athlete an athletic scholarship? Unfortunately, college coaches have limited resources and budgets for recruiting. As a result, coaches are forced to recruit locally and tend to stick to bigger high schools which have produced successful players in the past. Many great student-athletes never get the proper exposure, failing to reach their full potential. With Skipper Media we can change the way student-athletes get recognized.

DVD video is one of a few opportunities to make a frist impression! And trust me first impressions are remembered. Typically, a coach will evaluate an athlete within the first two minutes of the video. Why? They need to with hundreds of videos and profiles they are overloaded.

There is no better way to make a great impression on a coach with a professionally filmed and edited DVD video highlighting your best action! Skipper Media films in broadcast quality footage of games, training sessions and practice.

Athlete interviews introduction: Tell coaches who you are, where you are from, and what your specific goals are. Show confidence and project a mature image. This introduction will normally be about 20 seconds.

As I noted above, the coach will probably have a good indication of your talent within the first two minutes of your video. Highlight outstanding moments and technical mastery of your talent. This will grab the coach's attention.

The video will show approximately 5-7 minutes of your finest competitions along with training highlights if relevant to your sport.

Athlete interviews closing: You will finish your video with 15 seconds of "contact information," including club/high school coach and direct phone number(s).
